This section is for the Meetup groups kids and/or adults Arts/Crafts projects they do at Meets

or at home for special events we hold at Meets

If you have a picture of an Arts/Craft project your kids and/or you did at the Meetup or at home for a special event

we held or are holding at a Meetup.

Sometimes for our meetups kids and/or parents will prepare homemade treats to bring

I thought that these could be added here along with the recipes for everyone to use

If you or your kids have prepared homemade treats & brought them to one of our meetups

please send them to me with the recipe & picture and I will add them in this blog section

Chocolate Sprinkles


Home Brand cooking milk chocolate


We also used a White chocolate bar we had in the fridge


(but you can make just the milk chocolate ones)


Some mixed sprinkles


Some we added crushed nuts to that were leftover


Melt chocolate in the microwave,dollop out in circle drops,add sprinkles/crushed nuts and put in fridge


These are a cheap treat for everyone

Three Ingredient Cookies


150g or 1 cup Plain Flour


50g or 1/4 cup Caster Sugar


100g or 7 Tspoons Butter


Makes around 24 good sized cookies


Then you can add anything to them


We added some ginger spice.cocoa.Sprinkles


Add all ingredients in a bowl & rub together


Make into a big ball of dough,then make small balls


Squash out flatter with a fork on tray covered with baking sheet,


then bake 15-20 min depending on your oven


170 for elect oven.

Coconut Chocolate Balls(No Bake)


1 Can Of Condensed Milk


Around 200gms Of Desiccated Coconut

Plus Extra For Thickening If Needed


Around 180gm Of Melted Chocolate(Use Whichever One You Want)

We Used Home Brand Milk Cooking Chocolate


Paddy Cakes We use Cheap White Ones


Whatever You Want To Decorate Them With


In a large bowl, mix the desiccated coconut with the condensed milk.

Add the melted chocolate to the mixture.

Mix using a spatula. Make sure that all the ingredients are well mixed.

If the mixture is too sticky add a little bit more coconut.

Cover the bowl with a plastic wrap and place in the fridge for 30 minutes,

so that the mixture hardens before you start rolling it into balls.


Roll the coconut mixture into small balls.

Roll each ball in the coating of your choice: coconut, chopped nuts, chocolate sprinkles etc.

Place each ball in a small paper cup. Cool the balls in the fridge before serving.

Lolly Cake From Mouth Of Mums




120g Butter

1 packet (250g) Malt biscuits crushed

1/2 tin (200g) Sweetened condensed milk

1packet (190g) Eskimos lollies or marshmellows.Only used 1/2 the packet

Dessicated coconut




Warm butter and condensed milk in microwave

Cut up Eskimos lollies in half. I use marshmellows cause can't find Eskimos lollies Cut marshmallows in half

Mix butter, condensed milk, crushed malt biscuits and marshmallows together

Form a log shape. Once formed roll in coconut.

Chill in fridge for 4 hours. When set cut into slices and serve

Place some hand wrap over the top of huge look cake to keep it moist in the fridge
